It's time for stories again!! sorry it was delayed for two days...anyway...I will first type the passage from the bible it will be taken from 1 Timothy 6:6-10....
1 Timothy 6:6-10
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

The Bug Spray

When Antonia entered the kitchen, Mom was putting the finishing touches on her birthday cake. "Toni, the ants have decided to come to your party," Mom said without looking up.
"Aunt Rose and Aunt Linda?" asked Toni.
Mom laughed and pointed to the floor where several ants were scurrying around."Get the bug spray out and take care of them, please," she said.
As Toni squirted the ants, she choked down a sob. Mom set the cake aside and put an arm arund Toni. "What's wrong, honey?"
"Everything!"exclaimed Toni between sobs. "I hate this old h-house and---and Roseanne is getting a whole new oufit for my birthday, and I'm not." Roseanne was Toni's cousin.
Mom sighed as she gave Toni a hug. "I'm doing the best I can," she said softly.
Toni tried to stop her tears. "I know, Mom. But it's not fair. Roseanned has a daddy and a nice home, and her mom doesn't have to work. Sometimes I almost hate Roseanne." She blew her nose. "i don't like being jealous. It makes me feel ugly---and I want to be happy for my birthday party."
"I know," Mom replied. "But there will always be people with more and peple with less. Do you know what kills jealousy?" Toni shook her head. "A thankful spirit does," Mom continued. "After your dad left us, I was bitter for a while. When I became thankful for what I did have---you, my church family, my health, my job--I was no longer jealous of those who had more. A thankful spirit kills jealousy like that spray kills ants."
Toni wiped her eyes. "I'm thankful for you, Mom," she said. She tried to smile as she looked around her. "And I'm thankful for that cak you made and for friends who are coming to my part and for---oh! There's another ant!" She grabbed the bug spray. A she pushed the button, she said," Next time I feel jealous, I'll remember to give it a big shopt of thankfulness. It works. I feel better already."
